Decorating For Fall

Time To Decorate

It's officially time to start decorating for the fall season - here are a few of the many ways to start decorating your house for this new season:

1. Pumpkins & Mums

This may seem like the most obvious but it is the most effective way to get your home in the autumn spirit. Putting one or two pumpkins out with a couple mums makes such a difference. Especially if you're planning on listing your house or plan to have a fall gathering. Adding these touches will really make your house inviting and appealing.

2. Swap Out Door Mat

A door mat is meant for catching. dirt, wiping your feet and to add a touch of personalization during the season. The changing season is the perfect type to swap out your old door mat for a new one. It can make your curb appeal much more attractive, it makes your home more inviting and it's simply festive. You can get a cute fall door mat on amazon for under 20 dollars. I will link it HERE. :)

3. Fall Candles

Adding fall candles doesn't just make your house feel like autumn, but it makes it smell like it too! Adding a fall candle to your coffee table and dining room table can make your home feel cozy and in the fall spirit. You can even find fun candle holders that you can use again and again throughout the years. It's a simple yet effective touch to add the changing season to your home!

4. Throw Blankets

Adding a red, orange, or yellow throw blanket to the back of the couch can make your home immediately feel like fall. Having that pop of color makes your home feel like you entering into the new season. Similar to the candle holders, you can also use the same throw blankets every year. I am not a huge orange person, but I have one for fall. I stored it from last year and brought it out this year and wow... it just made my living room feel like fall.

I hope these ideas help a bit! Please reach out if you would like more advice or ideas! Happy Fall :)
