Accent Wall

So you have an empty wall and you feel like it needs something...

I am going to give you few possible ideas that will make not only the wall but the room feel much more complete and inviting! Lets dive in:

1. Wall Panelling

Adding wall paneling gives the room an immediate upgrade. Panelling can really fit in any room and will add the completeness that you have been looking for. You could leave the panelling by itself or throw up a couple light fixtures or pictures for an extra added touch!

2. Floating Desk

If you have a spare wall in the living room, bedroom, or even dining area.. that is a perfect spot to put up a floating desk. I am obsessed with floating desks because they take up so little space, there's such different varieties and they are so sharp. A bonus is they are easy to vacuum under and keep clean.

3. Wall Paper

Wall paper is having its comeback and I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon. Whether you're a neutral person or you like color, wallpaper can a touch of character that can make the room feel more put together. Adding a simple textured wallpaper can be very faint but feel very rich.

4. Board and Batten

Adding board and batten can make a room feel so incredibly cozy and inviting. I actually did a small wall in our guest bathroom and it makes it feel so much more complete. You can also throw a few family or nature pictures over it for an even more complete feel!

I hope these ideas help and I would love to see your completed projects!
